Now I tested an inconspicuous area first and given no staining occurred I proceeded to the rest of the patio area however it seems acid can affect some but not all slabs due to mining location etc. We cannot guarantee that it will remove them completely, especially if the stain is not just on the surface but it should at the very least reduce it.
