Beyond all that, the rendering between the acoustic, electric and digitally-created sounds is impeccable and palpable. Yeah, the 45 RPM pressing most definitely sounds better, but this is certainly not bad at all for what you pay for. The solitary moments with Thom Yorke on the backwardly twisted Nude, the serene Faust Arp and Videotape that dooms us all, turning the screw on our human psyche. I'm sure some will say this is the essence of vinyl reproduction but to me good vinyl exceeds digital on clarity and insight. Over the last few months he has disarmed packed rooms of rowdy concert goers, leaving them silent as they hold fast to every syllable sung.

Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi" and "Reckoner" both appear to be the odd cousins of John Fruscianti’s California funk, in which both the drums are mixed high, giving your heart something to worry about. I find 15 Step and Bodysnatchers to sound pretty good with some clarity and punch but once you get to the inner tracks the detail is gone. I can only compare this to my cd copy and the cd hasn`t been played for years so for me definitely this issue is great. After 15 years of continual, radical transformation, Radiohead found themselves with time, freedom and acquired wisdom. The box contains the album on both two 45 RPM 12" vinyl records, and on CD, along with a second, enhanced CD containing eight audio tracks, artwork and photos. His full length debut on Daptone Records is equal parts raw feeling and elegance and exudes confidence and charm. Previous experiments bleed all over the album, warped electronics, brazen hooks and maudlin melodies while Yorke turns the screw on the human psyche.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of seeing Jalen perform live knows that he is one of the most captivating performers on today's soul scene.

The bass is tight, melodic and quite dynamic, but a bit light (just notch the sub or EQ up a bit to your liking). Over its 40 years in business, PIAS has grown to be one of the largest independently-owned music groups in the world, carving out its own in-house recorded music division PIAS [Recordings].

Incredibly hard to figure out which pressing it is though; matrix on Side A is 156455E1/D (swear to god) and label says Made in Europe (which it doesn’t in these images).According to the bat-eared characters on that Steve Hoffman place all Radiohead vinyl albums are rubbish apart from this iteration of In Rainbows.

At times it’s hard not wince in familiarity yet he is not wallowing in self-pity, he is human and articulate and unfortunately for us, we know where he’s coming from. After breifly listening back and forth with the first 45rpm double lp original pressing, I can briefly say that the OG pressing sounds miles ahead better than this version. The juxtaposition between the distortion the band intended and the smooth sounds intended is super dynamic. The live strings in the studio on a few tracks and the acoustic guitar and piano in places are rich and full and showcase one of vinyl's ultimate abilities. I was very worried when I read the comments about this version but honestly, this one sounds great to me. The first thing I notice in this rendering more than I ever noticed in any before, is the way that Tom's vocals weave in and out of the soundscape. The pressing is dynamic but doesn't manage to fill the room, it lacks a bit of depth but apart from that great sound and just good songs. It's impossible to fault anything here, overall from the beautiful presentation and the extras, if your a fan of this band don't even hesitate to pick up a copy.
