I have been layering this with Ambroxan (not Molecule 2 -- a cheaper alternative from Etsy), and it does improve the projection and longevity a little. My husband really likes this fragrance on himself and I encourage him to wear it because it doesn’t matter that it’s geared toward women, it’s a great unisex scent! It’s well blended, I think the iris is making the light powdery almost smoky to me but not in a bad way? Yes, GG might be a little unoriginal and she smells a tad too young and feminine for my tastes (I'm 34 y/o), but it's a lovely, layered composition and a little goes a loooong way.The Guess Seductive Noir Eau de Toilette for women will be your secret weapon to guarantee your success. I just LOVE it, it's got vanilla but not in an edible way, and the sage and bergamot smell almost herbal, which help it to smell more niche. Having expected a deep, vanilla heavy aromatic bomb, the bright citrus opening scared the hell out of me. after a bit of time, it turns to a soft vanilla-floral cloud with a hint of vetiver, and it no longer smells like LL at that point. This smells just like the drydown on Mon guerlain - it goes straight to the lovely vanilla ; very nice smell , and good if you want to save your Mon guerlain ; however at the tail end of wear it gets a but funky not in a good way, whereas Mon guerlain stay lovely and classy . I have just used up my bottle of MG and wanted a cheaper dupe, and the reviews for this one sold me.It took only a moment for the sage and iris to bloom and tie it all together in a simple (a bit cheap, but oh well) and composed symphony. I will say, you have to like Iris, i find this a bit more lavender than Iris, but I definitely don't smell Iris as much as i smell lavender on a day to day basis - but if i did pin point I would definitely say this is a lot more lavendery than the iris note put in, i personally do not get any iris. Update: I have the Mon Guerlain now, and I wear it fairly often (the EDP), but I won't stop wearing the SN, too. A wonderful aromatic vanilla with a little edge to it and I can only say +++ to ShoGirls review below!

The dry down (the best part of this fragrance) is a balsamic, slightly spicy vanilla reminiscent of mon Guerlain. I sniffed it for the first time and my eyes rolled back in my head but then I realized why I liked it - it smells exactly like Mon Guerlain which is my signature scent.The fragrance overall wasn’t bad but wasn’t impressive, the performance seemed quite terrible, so this one is a pass.
