I just finished listening through Avril Lavigne’s entire discography. For the first time, too; beyond Let Go I heard all of these for the very first time. What it did was prove to me that Avril Lavigne is one of the best to ever do it in pop punk, regardless of gender or if she had a band or not. Let Go and to my surprise especially Goodbye Lullaby are both albums I think are genuinely fantastic, and Under My Skin is pretty damn great, too. Hell, I think The Best Damn Thing is a really good album, and despite a lot of really weird choices that signaled that her career was about to derail, her 2013 self titled is a decent enough record, even if Hello Kitty should be buried forever.

Now, the real spearhead of all of this isn’t exactly a fresh face, although he has the respect of seemingly every single person in music, and hell myself to. That name is Travis Barker, the drummer of blink-182 who’s had his hand in a bunch of pop punk from the last wave and now is basically connected to everyone one way or another. Now him and Avril never really crossed paths in music for at least her own music, but in late 2021, it was announced that Avril Lavigne was actually signing to Travis Barker’s own label, which is rather notable considering Barker’s label roster really isn’t that big all things considered. For as connected as that man is, in pop punk not, it’s really significant for her to invest all the way on him, or is it? I have some favorites that didn’t even make the album,” Lavigne said. “I literally could put out another record right after this one.” Goods that are faulty or sent in error must be returned to Crash Records Limited, 35 The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 6PU within 7 working days of the item being received by the customer. I gave her last album, 2019's 'Head Above Water' a listen when it came out and still wasn't feeling it, so was not expecting much when I eventually got round to giving 'Love Sux' an spin. Before you say that I'm too nostalgic for older pop punk, I'm just saying that I feel like 2020's punk music feels somewhat soulless and ironically shallow. Fall Out Boy, MCR, Panic! at the Disco, and some others in the 2000's had more weight and effort in their music imo).Selected items are only available for delivery via the Royal Mail 48® service and other items are available for delivery using this service for a charge. The thing is that I really like her music, and even when it gets immature, it can be fun. However, the most immaturity I can handle before expecting something more came with her self-titled album in 2013. I actually really like that album, with fun songs like Sippin' On Sunshine, You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet, and Bitchin' Summer (though there were a couple of deeper ballads like Let Me Go).
