Yet once again Harry takes no responsibility and has since tried to change the narrative by blaming the press for manipulating his words despite the fact that this sordid comment is written by him in his own memoir. Mark Borkowski was also critical of him giving away his track record in Afghanistan, stating "He's put a target on his back and if he's protecting his family, he's put them in the greatest danger because I don't believe they've got the same level of security he would have enjoyed while he was a member of the royal family.

Harry has now turned against the other family, the military, that once embraced him, having trashed his birth family. After being refused permission to be buried at Althorp next to his mother in the event of his death, Harry mentions that he has chosen the Frogmore estate as his burial site. Warren Buffett has pledged to give away his fortune, but you're not entitled to take his car without asking. It is also especially challenging but important to keep your review concentrated on what is actually written in this book (including its publicity) and for that reason, I have made great efforts to set aside what I know and what I'm hearing, because to review this honestly it is important to ignore the rumour mill and the other news stories, and set aside your own perceptions. They want to rise above it and often ignore the stories written about them and advised Harry to do the same.Harry describes William as "my dear brother, my archnemesis", before pointing out how for the first time he noticed his "alarming" baldness and how his resemblance to his mother was fading. This was all made explicitly clear to me from the start of life's journey and regularly reinforced thereafter.

I think it's been well covered already how Harry openly talks in this book about his drinking and drug use, losing his virginity and what were probably his biggest public gaffs of wearing a nazi outfit to a fancy dress party and using a racial slur when talking about a friend because he “wasn't thinking” and because of a “failure of self education” which he humbly admits he needs to improve.

Naïvely, I thought if I put my own feelings and my own truth out there for the world to read, my family might also come to understand me better.

He mentions that he felt "nothing for [Margaret], except a bit of pity and a lot of jumpiness," and added that "she could kill a houseplant with one scowl. So, by publishing this bitter book that is heavily weighted against and critical of William, Harry has likely created the second most difficult time in Williams life and this course of action was deliberate and venomous. Speaking to The Telegraph, sources close to Camilla mentioned that she was not behind the leak and was "furious" when she discovered that details of her first meeting with William were published in the press. Detailing his tours of duty in Afghanistan, Harry states that he flew on six missions that killed 25 Taliban members, whom he did not view as "people," but instead as "chess pieces" that had been taken off the board. That aside, this was actually an interesting book, but like many, I feel that there are probably a few details he could have spared us. So all of this has exacerbated an already strenuous relationship and makes any kind of reconciliation unlikely, but certainly more difficult.
