Climate

Dry season: October - May
The weather remains dry and relatively cool. Temperatures fluctuate between 25°C and 40°C.
October - November: the climate is temperate, nor cold but not too hot with less wind.
December - February: mornings and nights can be chilly due to the wind coming from the open sea with temperatures sometimes going down to 15°C.
March - April: this is the time of the year when the dusty harmattan wind blows off the Sahara during the day.
Rainy season: June - October
The country still gets an average of five hours of sunshine each day but you might find that some of the smaller dirt roads get washed away.
