We invite you to join Malo Sonko's students on a visit to Abene.

This year, the festival should take place from 26 December 2007 until 2 January 2008 but please if that is very important that you don't miss out on any of the dates of the festival, email us first before booking your flight. This information depends on the sole information that we receive from the festival committed at the time of updating the website.

We do not offer "packages" as we want everyone to feel free to organise their ideal trip and stay in Abene. You are therefore invited to schedule your trip and to choose and stay for a short or longer period before, during or after the festival.

We will be trying to answer your queries about the area and give you advice based on our personal extensive experience of splitting our time between Africa and the UK. We will try to offer you a holiday tailored to your taste and needs for accommodation, tuitions and excursions.

Depending on your request, the holiday will consist of musical classes, including percussions and dance tuitions, excursions and the discovery of the way of life of the locals. The combination of programmes will be yours, whether you would like more or less hours of teaching, more or less relaxing time on the beach, more or less excursions.
