Workshops

We offer you a wide range of musical workshops, including traditional African percussions and dance>.

One to one and group workshops are available daily and are adapted to all levels. If you are already a musician or a dancer, this is your opportunity to improve and perfect your skills with local artists and experience their way of life in beautiful surroundings.

You will be able to choose from djembe, dun dun, seourouba, talking drum and bougarabou with Malo Sonko as well as balafon, talking drum, kora, sabar for which we will arrange classes for you with a professional and experienced teacher.

If you are interested in seeing how to make a djembe or a dun dun, Malo can show you as well as teach you if you are keen to learn the traditional techniques of drum-making.

Alternatively you may wish to learn batik fabric dying, woodcarving or even traditional West African cooking which we can arrange for you on request.
