Ciao For Now: A Romantic Comedy
- Brand: Unbranded
Description
So when she lands an internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she brings her A game to Italy. The fiery attraction between the sunshiny, optimistic, caring, artsy, creative, and quirky Violetta and the grouchy, surly, charismatic, and playful Matt absolutely excited me!
I’m a 30-something graphic designer, MLIS, singer, book lover, avid world traveler, cat whisperer, whale watcher, and art enthusiast. Overall: Ciao for Now was super cute and a really fun read, with the bonus of having an incredible setting in Italy. What I don’t like about it: For the first couple of chapters, who Violet was as a character was a little too ambiguous.Kate Bromley lives on the East Coast with her husband, sons, and her somewhat excessive collection of romance novels. rounded up because I felt very connected to the characters (who are so much more like me and my friends were at around 30 -- focused on building careers and travel and building "forever" relationships -- than all these books where women hang out and watch reality television with their besties while drinking sweet and unappealing cocktails. Overall, it was a sweet RomCom with great banter, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to read and review!

Thank you to the author and publisher for providing a NetGalley ARC in exchange for my honest review. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Their animosity (and undeniable chemistry) grows as together they’re forced to face a summer of chic parties, adventures through Rome and sharing a home…with the person they can’t stand the most.
