Open workshops

alnaniking uk organises drumming classes taught by Senegalese teacher Malo Sonko.

Malo Sonko has been a drum maker, performer and teacher for over 20 years. He is a very patient and inspiring teacher and is eager to share his passion for traditional West African percussion. He teaches djembe, dun dun, bougarabou, talking drum and seourouba and can also repair, tune or re-skin any of those instruments

alnaniking uk has been running monthly workshops over the last 5 years in South London. There is generally a class for beginners and mixed levels and a class for intermediate and advanced levels. The classes will resume in 2006.
