About this deal

Higher gain settings on the pedals can quickly get messy and unwieldly, but setting them for moderate or edge-of-breakup type gain and using a good boost or OD in front of them gives a much tighter, controlled overdrive or distortion tone. I hope this helps - I didn't take any readings from the gooped module area - let me know if you need anything. I run the American Sound as a preamp into the power amp of my Bandit at home for practice and it gives me very inspiring BF Deluxe reverb-ish tones all day long. Do not run you iron too hot (hence the leaded solder), and be quick, or the copper pads may de-laminate. Could you please report the values of the components highlighted on the gutshot above, to check if it's a straight copy of the Blonde, or again a slight variation ?

I know they're different types of units, but wondering how the Joyo compares to the Quilter in terms of sound/tone. In terms of construction the JF-13 is made from durable aluminium and has a incredibly sturdy design. Of the five (including the FlyRig), the American Sound is absolutely the best, by leaps and bounds, through the front of an amp. It consists of Tone, Volume, and Drive knobs that let you adjust the output volume, dial in the gain, and get the perfect tonal balance. In my opinion the AC Tone is okay at very clean operation for recording, but used on stage it's very noisy. The Joyo JF-13 definitely holds its own in any pedal chain, especially for guitar players with the desire to blend new and old. in a box pedal i probably would go with the AMT F1 because i like the Fender clean, in your case the AMT V1, Vox in a box. Some people like their modulation before the dirt pedals (not me though) or compressor after the overdrive/treble booster for example.

I got a Wampler Thirty Something and tried it out recently into the front end of several amps and also the club PA. Like I said, it's a fantastic unit and does everything else well, but it's not what you want for your intended purpose, IMHO. I did try it at our Club some weeks ago, plugged into our standard back line amp and it was terrible and uncontrollable but its not meant to be used that way so i wasnt surprised really.I can't think of ever having thrown away an effects pedal, guitar or amp - I've sold them, given them away, or they are sitting on a shelf waiting to be used even if very infrequently. This pedal can crate a range of sounds due to the in built EQ which allows you to control the Mid, High and Low ranges. The MM Silver from budget guitar effects manufacturer Ammoon is much like the Mosky Audio TM overdrive: a clone of the popular Timmy drive stomp by Paul Cochrane. ammoon’s Mini Guitar Effect Pedal (Obsessiver Overdrive) comes in a small, durable zinc-aluminium alloy body. I've used a few drops of translucent hot glue to make sure that the wires won't come off, i don't trust such a tiny blob of solder from a mechanical point of view.
