A glorious mingling of fresh and breezy plummy notes, woods, suede, musk. Though it doesn't come across as overly fruity. It seems more floral, but I personally don't sense any particular flower. Except I love the balance in it, like marveling at a high-wire act, which it is for me. A mis-step in a white floral/green fragrance puts me right in perfume hell. So there's a built-in tension I feel which adds to my interest. They both have that same dark, mysterious and warm feeling, even though they are not alike at all. Neither of them seem like a modern fragrance to me; they give me a feeling of old times. They are both sultry and sensual, without ever being offending anyone. Just as good for a date with your loved one, as for christmas celebration with your family or festivities with your friends. Or just to endulge in when you are all by yourself, watching a really good movie: preferably portraying a time period sometime around maybe 1930 - 1950, or so. I spray it all over my clothes and bedding too. Reminds me of something from my 80s childhood and I cant quite pinpoint it. Finesse conditioner? Jean Natte? I adore this! For me this is a modern take on a clean musky scent. The older Narcisos like “for her” in this line smell a little bit dated to me now and a bit too …perfumy?

The modern chypre musc, a unique facet in the family of chypre fragrances, led for her to become an international phenomenon and a modern classic. its a beautiful scent for layering too - im not into layering but this scent is perfect for layering cuz its light , the musc is so universal so its easy to mix & the scent doesnt have a whole lot of ingredients so easy to mix - especially layers very well with other scents that have berries in it :) it blended really nice with vince camutos illuminare intensa & vince camutos illuminare I sprayed this in the morning, went for a 3 hour hike in the windy woods, and then went to get lunch. I really couldn't smell it on myself anymore, and assumed I smelled like 'outside.' A man standing across from me in the store kept commenting how good I smelled! This new bottle has lasting power! Longevity: 3/10, fairly weak - around 2 hours of staying potent, as to where I was able to smell the notes mentioned.Numerous times I have been tempted to blind buy the Rose version, but why bother? I'm happy with this. More than. Still, tempted... This fragrance is just one beautiful scent from the opening to the dry down. The projection is one the best I've encountered. Any fragrance that you can still smell on yourself 4+ hours later, just know everyone around you is getting a whiff as well. It's bold, but not in an offensive way. The lasting power is spectacular, as i expected. It lasted 7+ hours on my skin. Well, I am so sorry to say but I find this extremely generic and I can barely smell a thing. I got some tester cards, they seem a bit stronger as opposed to spraying from the bottle, and I noticed that the liquid is a little oily. It smells clean, musky, floral, but very, very generic, and sillage is so low it is almost infuriating. From the beginning this starts off quite musk-forward (very similar to Narciso's Pure Musk) rounded out with plum and some florals. As it warms up on the skin, it becomes softer, warmer and more complex. It blends with your natural scent and gives off the most *beautiful* sillage - people will wonder why you smell so good, but not know what it is.

While many of my favourite winter perfumes are in the amber, soft amber, or woody amber fragrance families, I also love wearing soft, musky scents on days when I want something a little lighter. Soft florals with a notable musk accord are perfect for that transitional period where the days are getting lighter, but it still feels cold, and I'm not ready to pull out my spring fragrance wardrobe, which consists mostly of florals. I do love all that I have tried from Narciso Rodriguez that I have tried: except Narciso Ambree, which has no longevity on me, I'm afraid - maybe I'm anosmic to it or something. But this is something extra: it ACTUALLY comes in as one of my Top Two Fragrances Ever. And that, my friends, does not say little. I have close to a hundred fragrances, and love some more, and have tried some more... the other one on my Top is Lou Lou, Cacharel, which I have owned since it came out. So it took that long, for something to match it... However, I have not really been a fan of a couple of the new Narciso cubes (esp. Ambrée) and I don't like this for a similar reason and that reason is a cheap floral note that throws the whole perfume off, a sour note that smells like cheap perfume gone stale. The rest of this is good - I like the plum, the softness, the musk, of course, but I just cannot cope with the florals in this. I don't know if it is a change in perfumer, budget or what, but this is spoiled for me... I've given it a couple of good tries but I get the same thing each time.i have to say i almost tossed this lol........i was hoping it was going to be something else by the name & ingredients BUT something made me keep trying it & YEAH its a beautiful light fresh skin scent worth keeping :) glad i gave it another try cuz i can be a bit impulsive when trying new scents lol.................plus i have (mostly) all the other narciso scents so glad to add this one too :) just a heads up this is not a scent that fits its name.........i have no idea why they call it musc noir lol - it totally does not fit the noir lol and if ur choosing between this or musc noir rose IMO i think this one is much prettier & more wearable - musc noir rose i returned - it was a funky combo on me & wasnt appealing Ok I’m actually pretty intrigued with this one . At first sniff I didn’t think I liked it , then it dries down and it’s just lovely ! It’s a very light scent though, I keep spraying and I feel like I can barely smell it . It almost reminds me of soda in a way , maybe cola or Dr Pepper ? It also reminds me of incense? I definitely smell tuberrose. This perfume reminds me ever so slightly of the Juse box feather ? Perfume but a darker version . This would be great on a summer night or day . My tastes are changing so much , I never thought I would like something like this , I really like it but I wish it was stronger . Ya this perfume has me sniffing my wrist nonstop wanting more. . I didn’t care for the original narciso Rodriguez for her , was just too musty? Not sure but it wasn’t for me . This one I’m definitely buying. After falling in love with Narciso, I'm exploring the rest of the line. Most are very pleasing except for the two original Narciso Rodriguez fragrances, which never worked for me. I had a voucher to use just after Christmas for The Perfume shop and quite honestly, there wasn't really much which caught my attention until the SA asked me what my most worn/collected scent was and I already knew the answer; Narciso Rodriguez For Her. Anyone that knows me IRL knows I am slightly obsessed with the For Her line, theres always one from the lineup that works for any occasion and season, all of them have an effortlessly sexy and confident aura that at the same time feels comforting and safe, the SA passed me a test strip sprayed liberally with Musc Noir and I bought 50ml there and then. Combine for her PURE MUSC with for her eau de parfum. Live an addiction of musc and peach to feel seductive.

Pure Musc For Her by Narciso Rodriguez captures the essence of femininity with its Floral Woody Musk composition. I read that this was also good to pair with other Narciso perfumes or any other musk based fragrances, so i paired it with one of my favorite, Indi by Katy Perry. It was like putting icing on your favorite cake. The way these two scent intertwined and blended so well together, i fell in love. I am so glad i chanced blind buying this. I highly recommend trying this scent out. Ideal for musk enthusiasts, this fragrance offers a well-balanced combination of musk, cashmeran, and florals. It's a sophisticated and elegant option, making it a good blind buy choice. The fragrance exudes power and seduction, with moderately long-lasting performance that stays close to the skin.
