About this deal

The range comes in bright and colourful counter displays, making them even more appealing to children with pocket money to spend. You can either bake them in the oven at 150* for about 20-30 minutes or you can leave them on a baking tray to air dry for about 2-3 weeks. If the eggs are soft inside (about 1 week later) the kids should be able to just break them open with their hands. But if you have regular coffee grounds on hands you could probably just pour them in a filter over a cup to dilute it down and then dry them out!

NAT GEO DIG KITS - National Geographic Kids

The block is made from gypsum and plaster so is safe for kids to dig in and the brush and tool are made from wood. My son had a Fossil / Dinosaur Birthday Party and I made these DIY dinosaur dig kits to send home with the kids as party favors! The process involves mixing sand, plaster of Paris, and water together to create a rectangular brick that will fit inside a party favor bag. Dinosaurs died out around 65 million years ago, so how can we find out about what dinosaurs really looked like and how they lived? Pupils will handle fossils, find out what they are, what they can tell us and how palaeontologists study them to explore prehistoric life on Earth.

They particularly loved using the paintbrushes and measuring the skull to find out which dinosaur it belonged to.
