But I just kept wanting him to go deeper and reflect more and use more language that related to the senses that poetry is known for. He was almost like a comic book character, this over-the-top super-soldier who just wouldn’t die no matter what the enemy threw at him. He’s one of the craziest people I’ve ever read about, so we decided to do something different for him.

I honestly feel like I have learned things from what I have read in this book and it's made me view things a little differently. I also struggled with the approach to trauma and the deduction that “trauma is simply “stuck life energy. After a lifetime of self-loathing, crippling fear, and attempts to numb his own feelings, he was left on the verge of suicide. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to cultivate a deeper sense of self-love and acceptance, especially if they are going through a challenging time in their life.
